What about transferring info from the other forum to here? Can it be done?
There is a lot of info and peoples post that needs to be here in the new forum...

As far as we know... that would have to be manually done. All the old posts would have to be re-pasted under "Admin." Plus, although we're sure that other people do have helpful advice, we cannot endorse it.

That's not really a forum in my eyes....
But not all you tell people is correct...
When I bought my solar system I called renogy and I told them what I wanted to run in watts... They told me I needed 15 panels, Well that was way wrong... I did it with 8 panels.....
So what you tell people isn't always correct is it?

Since I have your attention what was really wrong with the old forum? It looks the same as this one... The only difference I see is that someone from Renogy is here...

Hi Tattoo, We mentioned on a previous thread that the reason we created the new forum was because: 1) the domain was associated with Renogy-Store, which no longer exists and 2) the email associated with the old forum account has been purged and we cannot recover any of the login information. Hence, the new forum. Additionally, we disagree with your understanding above. We are not saying that the advice that members (customers) give on this site is not accurate or helpful. What we are saying is that we do not have the time to go through every post on the old forum to determine that the posts that members make are accurate. Engineering degrees? That's the problem I guess, In the real world and how things really work or don't work is how you should give advice.... Not what's written down in a book...

This forum is useless if your not going to come by to answer questions just 3 days a week at best..... You really need to check here at least twice a day....
