Hi guys. I just recently added 2 100w panel for a total of 300w. I used renogy's CNCT-MC4Y Branch Connector to connect all three panels.
Do I need to add a fuse? Separately from each panel? From all three? Or both?

You don't need any but one will be fine for all three... I understand that Renogy has some real cool ones that you put inline going to the CC...

We recommend the 10A one. www.renogy.com/renogy-mc4-waterproof-in-line-fuse-holder-w-fuse/-Renogy Team

I have the same setup and I don't fuse them individually. Just use a 30 amp fuse from all three. I think its the same as doing it individually but, of course, I could be wrong.Anyway, mine works fine.

Does not lightning travel through AIR, how does a fuse stop lightning?
Why fuse/breaker anything?
