I have the Rover 20A MPPT which has been working fine. Recently when I go to the history monitoring page everything apart from the current day shows 6553.5 in all the boxes. I have tried restarting the software but to no avail. It was working fine a few weeks ago. Global monitoring shows it has been recording for 117 days. Is there any way to reset it to start recording correctly? Another issue is that we also have a Victron energy battery monitor. My Solar station software was showing my battery SOC at 98% however my Victron was showing 87.9%. Which one should I believe? I had the same on mine, which seemed to happen when I switched it on again after doing some work on the battery wiring. I don't know if there's a way to reset, eventually it started logging the daily history correctly, I guess just overwriting the 6553 values. I prefer to log live data from the charge controller to a database on a Raspberry PI and get all my stats from there. I don't really trust SOC on anything, I believe you need to have the battery disconnected for hours in order to get a correct measurement. If your batteries are under load it's just not going to be possible. Neither, It's a useless....

Victron monitor does not estimate SOC based on voltage. It is an AH meter, and estimates SOC based on your input total AH capacity of Battery, versus AH consumed. If you have the correct total capacity programmed(difficult without testing) then it should be the more accurate reading. I use the Victron BMV-700.

Have you verified that "The monitoring software needs to be opened with "7zip" software" That might be why you're getting an error. -Renogy Team

Hi all,
I´m having that problem as well. I extracted all the installer files using 7zip, and installed as admin. Running windows 10 64 bit. Anything else to troubleshoot?

To complement my previous post, I did not find OCXDLLInstall.exe, mentioned in the install manual.

Just did it, ran it and it seems to work fine without the charge controller connected. Will try it this weekend when I go to my cabin. Thanks!
Shouldn´t this file be packaged with the installer?
