Hi there. My new 100w panels are not producing any volts at all. Got them 2 weeks ago. First I checked out of the box they were reading 17v. Now I'm ready to connect to controler and morhing is coming out of them. Very frustrated. .Help!

I was careful to mark them. Plus I am testing directly at the panel.

test a known source like a car battery then test them again in the sun. zero volts is no good. 20v or more is good. You can also set your meter to amps (set it correctly pr ya blow a fuse). 100w panel should be 5A or more in full direct sun. renogy has a video on testing renogy.boards.net/thread/159/solar-panel-troubleshooting

Ok guys. I figured it out. My freind was helping me route the cables from the roof and she identified the pos cable wrong. I had put a red tape on it. Since I have a MPPT if it was reversed it wouldn't damage it. So I reversed the cables at the controler and bingo. So happy. Works awesome. Thanks for the quick response!

And my freaking meter had a blown fuse!!! That was the first thing I noticed because it wouldn't read my truck battery. But also I was trying to measure on the 20v scale. I changed to 200v and they were putting out 20.5v
