What size/ type of inline fusing should I use between the PV panel and the controller and the controller and the 12V battery?

It depends on how many panels you have and what size CC you have...... Way more info needed to accurately answer your question.....

I would not fuse the panel/controller side. Fusing the controller/battery side to 10 or 15A assuming you wires are large enough for 10-15A (the should be).

What size/ type of inline fusing should I use between the PV panel and the controller and the controller and the 12V battery? 7-10A is appropriate for panel to controller, and 30A is normally what we recommend for the controller, assuming you would be expanding. -Renogy Team
