Renogy now offers a new data connection to cell phones at a ridiculous price. How buggy is it? I'm sure it very buggy and poorly thought out.
They continue to acknowledge the poorly solar BT app with out getting it ready for prime time.
This plan of not fixing what is broke is leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
Fix the ole toys before creating new ones, I'm sure you spend plenty making this new product and have ignored the BT app.

I remember when my Grandfather didn't want an indoor toilet installed in his house. In the 1950's, He didn't want a telephone in his house either. My first computer was very "Buggy". So was the TRS-80. Still, people continue to come out with new things before the old was perfected. I was tickled to death with a baud rate of 300 bits per second. Now we can look at our mobile phone and see who just rang the door bell from across the world. Talk to 'um, take their picture too! I wish all this neat stuff would have come out when I was younger. At 70, You made me remember My dad fussing with the rabbit-ears on a brand new 10" Black and White Television. Wow, 50 miles from Los Angeles, California. We got 3 channels. I'm glad, I'm Retired. So I can play with all this neat S...! (Stuff!) The very first time I had a bad taste in my mouth....I had just bitten into a Persimmon that looked ripe and wasn't.

This is the same app before Renogy got them to add their name and change colors play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shuorigf&hl=en_USKnow issues have never been addressed, Grape solar that has a 40A PWM that can use this app claimed no parameter changes available even though there were. Not sure why Renogy can not get SRNE solar to fix the app.
