Hello, I am new to solar, I have just plugged each of my new 160 watt flexi panels into my Victron 100/50 mppt - in direct sunlight. I am not sure if I am missing something, perhaps it is because the battery is already charged, but the app states that the panels are making 40 watts (each) I have only one connected at a time. Which is 25% of the stated power output. Could the MPPT be throttling the power somehow? Should the 40W figure demonstrate what the panels are making, irrespective of battery state? Next plan is to just check with a multimeter. Thanks all.

during absorption phase the batter is held at 14.4v for some time, during this time the controller limits output to prevent the battery going over 14.4v. So yes the controller is limiting output.
another indication is the high PV voltage. The panel is mainly OFF so the controller is reading high panel voltage near Voc.
add a load and you input will go up!
Get the controller in BULK mode and see those panels put out power!
