I just installed a Wanderer 30, on a solar powered boat lift, and it was working great. I did not have the manual with me at the time, and did not know how to set the battery type. It seemed to default to "Sealed". My batteries have caps for the cells, but they are "welded" with a bit of plastic to prevent them from being opened. Hence, I don't know if they are considered flooded vs sealed. If these are, in fact, flooded batteries, will I harm them by charging in the "Sealed" setting? How does the chargers operation differ between to these two settings THANKS. I love these forums As mentioned above, the default setting on the Wanderer is sealed. If your battery has a "cap" so as to fill with water, they are flooded. For the Wanderer's charging profile, they differ between sealed (boosts at 14.4V) and flooded (boosts at 14.8V) All the best, -Renogy Team
