I just installed the DC to DC charger in my truck camper but I can't get it to turn on. I wired it to turn on with a switch going to the D+ connection on the charger. I'm using the 12v power from the camper. I drained the batteries down 20% so they would want a charge. The instructions do not explain very well other than saying connect D+ to the switch and connection on the charger. I'm assuming the D+ is system 12v. Any help would be appreciated.

Why wouldn't they want to charge?? That's what they do.......
20% battery drain means NOTHING...... What was the voltage with a meter? ? ?

Have you been looking at these pictures? IT says you can either use D+ (engine running indicator) or ignition (alternator terminal 15) switch connection. And is the alternator connected as per the diagram? Just double checking. I did a Google on "D+" and I saw some discussions by people with RV's on the issue of getting a control signal - not for this product, but maybe some helpful info??? Also:
