Everything was working great since the install (May 2019) then 2 days ago I get in the Van and the house batteries are reading 11.6. They were 100% charged the previous evening and no loads were on.
I take a look at all my connections and all are reading 0 resistance.
One of my two batteries is Hot.. aprox 30c on when it was down to 14c overnight. The second battery is ambient.
My thought is there is an internal short in the one battery. The bank will not hold a charge at all.
Thoughts?
How to test of for a bad battery?
Anyone have the email contact at Renogy for warranty?
Or do I just take it back to Home Depot?
Any advice, insight is appreciated.
Thanks,
Ryan

I would take it out of the system then take it in the house and charge it with a AC battery charger for about 4 hours and then check it with a load tester......
It sounds bad to me but it will need to be checked.....

The other possible problem other than the battery, is a faulty charger. But no question you should get the battery tested regardless - even if was not originally bad, it might have been ruined by over charging.

Thanks for all the great replies.
Yup I bought it at HomeDepot. They always have great service and that's why I ask what avenue I should go down with return/warranty issues.

The warranty is the same no matter where you buy it. I do registration of warranties online with the product maker of stuff from HD. HD does have a 90 return policy
