Hello,
I'm thinking of leaving my battery in my shed over the winter to run some lights. Being in my shed, it is not winterized but is weather proof. I have a lead acid battery. I've been reading that when temperatures are below 0oC but not lower than -18 oC, the charge setting should be at 0.1 C. My rover has a temperature sensor (on the battery) and the rover itself, also has an ambient temperature sensor.
Is it safe to assume that it will auto-temperature compensate when the temperature does drop over the winter months?
Any other things I should to winterize my system (i.e. top off the batt with distilled water, etc.)?
Thanks
