I had the app working perfectly in the last few days. Today I can’t seem to connect, and the app won’t see the device at all. When I search for new devices, a blank device shows up, with no name. But I try to add that nothing happened. The only differences now I have my solar panels hooked up, where in the last few days I didn’t have them hooked up.
I tried unplugging the Bluetooth device. I tried ending the app and restarting. Nothing seems to be working.

I'm sure since you didn't have them hooked up and then you did it had to reset itself...

Got it. How long does that normally take?
While it's resetting, why wouldn't I see it at least show up in the app?

Never mind. It started working again suddenly. I don’t know why I have the same brand controller but my BT is built in, sometimes it just doesn't want to talk!! I've thought it was heat related but proved that wrong. Its maddening at times you really want to connect and it won't! My ole phone worked better.

I have the same issue (see other thread).
I'm on Android 8.0 and am running nRF Connect to monitor the connection. The app will just randomly stop asking for data. Sometimes I'll see a disconnect logged. I've been using the Info tab to disconnect & reconnect. Kinda works odd, sometimes the disconnect will work and sometimes not. Sometimes the AppID shows in the popup and sometimes it doesn't but if I hit Confirm with an empty Search box it'll still try to connect to the BT1

Is it safe to assume everyone here is using the Android app?

Also, same problem earlier today. Wouldn't connect. Wouldn't see the device. Haven't tried since.

Iphone and Android phone software seem to be affected. What controller are people using?

I didn't even bother hooking mine up
Smartphones are good for 2 things. Collecting data on you 24/7 and making phone calls.
They are unreliable for anything else

Now that I have finally learned more about my 60a CC and what it will actually do, I'm good with that too......
