I've contacted Renogy support and was told that it was discontinued even though it's still being shipped with the Rover series. I want to connect the charge controller to my raspberry pi so I can create custom apps, create Echo/Google home skills, a solution to check my power status across the internet than rather be in range for the bluetooth, but I can't because you want to push the bluetooth adapter. While it is nice you should allow for alternatives for developers.
it don't matter it didn't work anyways my win 10 machine could not find spent many hrs changing ports and nothing good thing its gone like half of renogy stuff rebadge or rebranded how ever you want to call it its crap

Did you find a good alternative to using that RS232 to USB cable? I accidentally connected the pins on that wrong and sent 15V through a raspberry pi. The pi did not survive and I'd like to make sure I know what I'm doing before I connect wires straight to the GPIO again.
