I will report how system is working, after we make a few more off-grid trips.
By the way, I have another 100 watt panel attached directly to a dedicated Suaoki lithium ion portable power supply center (110AC/12VDC storage/converter), which we use to support a CPAP machine. 400Wh capacity; runs CPAP w/moisturizer all night; recharges in 4-5 hrs full sunlight (7-8 hrs in partial) next day. This is isolated from the coach elec. system; has been working very well.

My question is, now with the solar panels and 2nd controller (Renogy Rover 40 amp MPPT) also connected to the batteries, will connecting the original 120V land line at home for primary battery charging, or charging of the batteries from the Chev engine alternator while driving cause any feedback to the Renogy Rover 40 MPPT, that may damage system, and thus require disconnecting the solar system, when charging batteries from the other more typical sources?

RVers generally never disconnect their solar. It plays well with others like alternator and shore power/generator charging via on board converter/inverter chargers. Many have a disconnect to disconnect the batt from the RV loads but the solar stays connected to maintain the batts.
The standard issue RV converter chargers are poor chargers and solar helps them follow a decent charge profile.
Recharging FULLY either daily or after a few days in the boondocks is the key and solar is best at that!
Do remember (especially with a mppt controller) that if you need to disconnect the solar that the panels need to be disconnected first and then the battery, of course reverse that when hooking up, the batt to controller first and then the panels.
This sub forum at rv.net is a wealth of info re batts and solar www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/listings/forum/39.cfm

Hi tattoo, that is the exact quote I answered, I thought completely. What is it about my answer you need further clarification?
