I installed a 30 Amp Adventurer solar controller by connecting it (as instructed) directly to my RV's house battery bank of (2) 12 volt AGM Batteries. However, once I turned the thing on (with it's bluetooth adapter), I cannot find anyway to turn in off. I often leave my camper unattended for long periods and shut everything down by using the main power disconnect switch. Should I have wired one of the leads to the controller to the main on/off switch instead of directly to the batteries? I know I should NOT have solar panels connected and in the sun when there are no batteries connected, but what is the best way to get thing thing off-line? What is the strand-by power draw for the adventurer and it's bluetooth adapter? If the trailer is outside and the panel(s) see some sun daily, I'd leave it connected as a maintainer for the batteries.
