Hi Anna, the default battery modes are close to what battery makers suggest for charging.
What controller do you have?
24H mode makes no sense to me but I'll happy look at the manual for your controller and reply.
Generally there is FLD or flooded SLD for sealed AGM batts and GEL. What type of battery do you have?
Float is the third stage of charging and generally means the battery is FULLY charged and being maintained via a FLOAT voltage (temperature compensated).
LOL Yep look at the manual... Do you have any real world experience???
13.8 is correct for float and will go down from there... What type system do you have??? Like number of panels, CC, batteries etc???

Hi Anna, from fixing another system I believe your '24H' mode is for the lighting control or load terminals, this has nothing to do with the controller's charging, there should be other settings for that.
And remeber Anna, the bad echo above knows nothing and makes stuff up so just ignore the noise.
Been reading the manual again bird???
I know way more than you bird, What he learned from real world solar he learned from me, He doesn't even own a true solar system he lights his walk way to his house.... Plus he doesn't even own one Renogy product... Remember bird drugs are bad.....
Anna tell us what system you have so I can help you....
