100 watt eclipse suitcase charging 12 volt 24-series rv battery. New battery. I put the multimeter on the battery and the connection to the controller (from battery) and got 12.54. I’ve used this setup once, worked fine. Went to do some work on the trailer and found this can of worms. Any help appreciated. How long has the system been charging the battery? What was the battery at before you hooked up the system??? What kind of draw do you have on the system?? Suitcase is used intermittently, charges battery in the morning or afternoon for a few hours. Currently, not charging with the system as trailer is in storage. Battery was at 10 amps. No draw from anything from the trailer, battery is disconnected from trailer. Suitcase is connected with alligator clips. Panels and controller are back! MC4 -> hardware to controller connection was junk. Currently hardwired to controller -> alligator clips to battery. Looks like I’m shopping cables and connections. I know it might be hard to do but you should try and hard wire them if you can...
