I've been plugged into shore power for 15 hours (overnight) but my RV batteries have not charged at all. I pressed the Charger Input Protect circuit breaker switch a couple hours ago.
Any ideas?

Did you check the shore power with a amp/voltmeter to see if it was putting out power?

Thanks. It's definitely putting out power. My RV has two separate sets of outlets, one that runs directly from shore power, the other that runs through the inverter/charger. The shore power outlets are live.

What positions are your switches set to? -Renogy Team

I haven't changed them since I installed it last December. It has worked up until this moment. I'll have to crawl under and check. Will get back to you.

My batteries have charged many times from shore power. I haven't touched the settings since installation.

If I turn it on, the "shore power on" light goes on. Do I have to turn it on to charge from shore power? I don't have a memory of this. Going to feel really dumb if this is the case.

Nope. A few hours less than one day at this point.

Can you run us through your setup? Which wires are connected to which port? Additionally, is the power set to on or power saver mode? What lights are showing? Finally, what voltage are your batteries at right now?

Thanks.
It looks like shore power runs into the positive pole, near the switch end of the inverter/charger. One of the wires running from the other side (with the outlet on it) looks like it's running to the battery. The other runs to an outlet in the bay, which I assume powers the other outlets in the box of the RV.
I have it switched on power saver mode right now. Three lights are on:
1. AC source detected. Battery charging. 2. Charger in Boost Stage 3. (near the switch) Battery charger (shore power on)
My readout for checking the levels of the batteries is what came installed originally in the RV (a '97 Safari Trek). It now shows that the batteries are fully charged. But, prior to my switching the inverter on, they showed as drained.
(I've never bought the Renogy remote because I don't want to have to mount it somewhere in the box. What I'd like to do is hook up the cable that's already installed, to the on/off switch that's already mounted in the wall inside the RV. I don't know, though, if the control wire that's there will work with your inverter/charger. It's a separate issue, but I'd love to resolve it.)
I think what might have happened is the input circuit breaker was tripped, so that all last night the batteries didn't charge. Then they started charging this morning after I reset that breaker. That's my best guess.
thanks

That's why I asked it it was producing any power.

I see. I don't know why it tripped. I haven't plugged in in several weeks.
Do you know if the breaker reset makes any sound when pushed? I pushed it, and maybe it made the difference, but there was no kind of feedback to let me know that I had, in reality, reset it.

What is the voltage in your battery with a volt meter with no load on it?
