All, I just wanted to run by my thoughts on what I am thing about for our 5th wheel. This to be able to Boondock on our 2 month trip out west moving about every 4 to 5 days. My energy audit said to plan on using 75 to 90 Ah a day depending on TV/Satilight usage and temperature. We have Boondocked in the past but only for 3 to 4 days with no solar and just 3 12v marine batteries so we know how to conserve but we aent looking to "ruffing it this trip. I already have the Renogy 600watt mono off grid Kit. Thx in advance.

I would take the breaker from the main hot battery line and replace it with a fuse, you don't need two cutoffs there.
Put a breaker in the panel hot line to the CC and from the CC to the battery. This lets you shut down the panels and CC. The CC requires 12v before seeing the panels so two breakers lets you shut down the solar and the panels. That would mean you can take out the 40A fuse from the CC to battery.
I don't see why you need a breaker from the inverter to the panel. The panel has a main breaker and the inverter should shutdown if you overload it. Make sure there's a way to turn off the PD9260 when you are on inverter ot you'll be trying to charge the batteries from themselves.
I'm assuming 600w of solar from the picture. Should be lots for 300Ah battery. If you can tilt them then that helps in AZ/CA in Jan/Feb. Last winter we ran with 320w & 450Ah of AGM and in AZ/CA I would be fully charged by noon if it was sunny. I could go 3 days without full sun. This year I have 640w.

Thx playersz28 for the comments and suggestions. Just to clarify, the batteries are 3 12v 200Ah AGM (600Ah total). The PD9260 will be on the Line 2 side of the house panel (so no power when in solar operation). I will look at the other suggestions they sound pretty good.

Yup, just as long as the PD9260 doesn't get fed AC when on inverter and you're fine. In my 5th wheel I power the whole trailer off the inverter so I just shut the on board charger off if I don't have shore power.

Are you going to use the MC4 fuse as a panel disconnect?

I just looked up that transfer switch cause I thought maybe it'd be cheaper than an auto one. Nope

Yes on mc4 fuse holder, I seen it on another site and it seemed to fit the bill. Also they included one in the kit I bought.

Latest update pic, after feedback from all forums. Really wish Renogy had a negative ground Rover 60 amp MPPT CC, didn’t feel good about the positive ground unit so ended up having to go with the Morningstar star one. Would love to see Renogy go with a more complete “eco system” approach similar to Victron but with the look and feel of Renogy. A ture cost/value “plug-n-play” scalable approach (panels, CC, batteries, inverter and monitoring) would bring customers in, in droves. I love working with Renogy and hope they can work with the othe manufactures and bring a more cost effective “plug-n-play” solution to market. love to here your thoughts.

The Rover 60A is a positive ground controller. -Renogy Team So you should hook the positive terminal on the CC to the ground/negative side of the battery??? Is that wording anything like using shore power???
Or hook the positive terminal on the battery to the CC housing to ground it???
I believe I'll leave mine hooked just as it is right now....
