My multi-purpose crimping tool does not seem to make a good connection on your metal end connectors. Is there a specific tool that I need to get these crimps on better?

If you have grinder or a dremel and a set of cheap bolt cutters, you can make one far better than you might buy.
The jaws are long enough to fit several profiles including battery cables .
