I hope this hasn't already been discussed but I'm having a problem with the Charge controller staying in idle mode or keeping the Nighttime symbol on during the day. I have the 200 watt Renogy panels and had the 40 amp rover hooked up a 200ah gel battery and everything worked fine so I took that battery back to get a bigger one. The system would charge all the time with the gel battery. I just purchased a new LFP 3.5kwh 24v battery. I got everything hooked up and changed the controller over to LI (24V). The battery was at 90% according to the controller and it powered up my inverter fine. The controller shows nighttime or idle before I plug panels in. Once I plug in panels I can see the Volts coming in but screen still shows Idle. Any help would be appreciated.

If they're in parallel it might be why the Rover is not charging. -Renogy Team
