About two years ago I installed the basic Renogy solar kit consisting of the 100 watt panel and charge controller on my homebuilt 'TOWED HUT'. My storage is 2-Optima 'Red Top" deep cycle batteries. I've just received a new RNG 100D-S panel for installation. I'd like to know how to 'splice' this newer panel feed cable into the original set-up and what other items I need to purchase to accomplish this basic task. Thank you, John

Hi John, if you are using MC4 connectors near the panel then it is easy to use 'Y' splitter so two panels can be connected in parallel with each other. If you go series with a MPPT controller then one panel connects to the next. Y splitter or BRANCH connector www.renogy.com/mc4-parallel-branch-connectors-mmf-ffm-pair/

Can I mix a 100D panel with two 100p panels. Just bought a third panel and it is a 100D.

Can I mix a 100D panel with two 100p panels. Just bought a third panel and it is a 100D. There is no issue with using 100W mono and 100W Poly panels in the same array. -Renogy Team
