Im getting ready to install my new panels and charge controller in my travel trailer, I plan on routing cables down the back of the frig to the electrical panel adjacent to the frig which is about center of the RV, Im running 10AWG from the modules to the CC. My batteries are located up front on the trailer tongue and the 6awg battery cable comes from the batteries upfront back to the electric panel where my wires will come down. The question is would it be best practice to route the new cables from the charge controller to the front where the batteries are or could I just get a bus bar and "splice" my 6awg battery cable behind the electric panel and connect my charge controller output there. Im trying to avoid running unnecessary wires under the camper but want your opinion if that would be the preferred method.

Many customers have used a bus system without issue. It makes wiring cleaner and easier. Only recommendation is to make sure the controller has a direct line to the battery so it can detect it. -Renogy Team
