I purchased the 400W and 300W Kits in April 2015. I ended up discarding the Commander 40A MPPT Charge Controllers that came with them and used an Outback FlexMax 80A. I only used 600W because the amps were too high for the 80A. All of a sudden, the charge controller is saying that it isn't getting the power it needs - low light. The input is seriously low for the full sun conditions. I can't find my spec sheet for the 100W panels so that I can check each one per this video - www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPb0b-s-Wfs. Can I get the specs I should be looking for as I run through the panels? All of my trouble shooting of the Charge Controller have led me nowhere, so now to check the panels. Thanks, Charity

Hi Charity,
100w panel general specs Isc 5 to 6 amps, Voc 20-22v (mono, poly etc are all different).
You are not trying to get exact measurements but relative. Check each panel, ya might have one that is bad.
my word of warning using a voltmeter set to amps, be sure it is set to amps correctly by pluging the leads into the correct spot and then understand the limit of the meter, I've blown a few voltmeter fuses measuring too high of amps!!!

Thanks! I measured the panels and since they were equal to one another, I finally figured out that it was a cable issue. Found a melted connector along the way . . . bingo. All flowing again. THANKS.
