few things and need some help with boxes ..
I Live in an 5th wheel RV just outside of tampa fl.
I have a pop out that adds a few square feet and the largest 120 vac / efficient window unit that sears kenmore had
1.5hp well pump. (will suck up any excess power).
Other power requirements are a part time 120vac 10 gallon water tank and oster convection oven,
43 inch led TV and a bunch of IOT devices(cameras, routers..etc)..
ok so I have 200amp service coming down and will replace rusted box with standard outdoor breaker box
and buy a 8*8 wood shed to put next to pole to hold other boxes battery -(gen -outside)
I was thinking about 5-6 kw grid tie and 400-600 watts for my 12 volt system .
on the 12 volt
I have (6*6 volt trojan batteries) in a golf cart and I want to replace and add a midnight classic 150 or 200 I don’t know ?? but they are the best brand and if I wanna grow that should give me head room on my 12 volt system. I Plan on some type of (low volt alarm– photo resistor controlled charger) for back up and will use the 12 volt supply (I now use) for what it was intended..ham radio...
On the grid tie. I could use some more schooling on what cut offs and box’s I need to buy and how to wire them
so lets say I have 16*300watt panels and enphase mico inverters
so I have 2 branch legs of the 220 and I put a breaker on each leg feeding the panel with a max of 8 micro inverters on each circuit?. I may be wrong ...anyway anybody wanna help me spend my $$$ wisely??? lead me in the right direction…
show me some boxes ...what do you call them transfer boxes?
would like to keep price down ..but dont want to skimp...
I plan on finding an electrician at some point ..but want to do it myself as much a possible.
73 (best regards)
