I want to put a circuit breaker on my solar panel wires before they enter the controller in case I have to work on something down stream from their, like disconnecting the battery. Do I need to put a circuit breaker on both positive and negative solar panel wires or just the positive wire or just the negative wire? thanks

I am running three 100 w eclipse renolgy panels and a 40amp controller, the circuit breaker I would get would also be a fused, resettable circuit breaker,,,,what size fused breaker should I get?
