I'm using a Renogy BT-1 Bluetooth Module with my Renogy Rover 40A MPPT Charger Controller. The Renogy BT app on my Pixel 3 XL stopped connecting to the Renogy BT-1 Bluetooth Module after upgrading to Android 10. I've tried the following:
Reboot phone and BT-1 module (disconnect/reconnect to Rover)
Manually connecting to the BT-1 module via Android's Bluetooth settings - it sees the adapter, but cannot pair.
I tried another Android Phone running Android 9 (OnePlus 6T) and that connects fine using the Renogy BT app's "search device" function
I've reinstalled the app - I am alerted on installation that the app may not be compatible with Android Pie.
Is the Renogy BT app using an Android legacy API to connect to the bluetooth module? Any plans to update the app?
Otherwise the app has served me well the last year until now. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you for contacting Renogy, we're currently working with the developers to address the Android 10 update. The BT-1 device works with Android 9, but 10 is the one causing some compatibility issues at the moment.
Thank you for the update. Yes, I was mistaken - I'm running Android 10 on my Pixel 3 XL, not Android 9. I've updated my post to help others. I'll use my OnePlus running 9 in the meantime to check my controller status. Looking forward to the update!
