"Connected each isolated battery via jumper cables to Ford E350 6.7 diesel Super Duty. Results same as above." Does that truck have a Li-iron battery charger? If not, you shouldn't be connecting that way. Maybe that means the rest of your system needs to be reset to indicate Li-iron battery type, not AGM? (see tattoo's comments above). Advised by someone who installs solar to try the truck. The system is set for lithium not AGM. That was changed when we switched from AGM batteries to lithium....

I thought I had answered all the questions at this point... what else have I missed? Your getting better........................
What is the load that you have on the system?
Both the Adm and I asked that..............

I do agree with ya that the BMS is playing havoc.

The lithium batteries are 2 months old. It was charging fine on the AGM batteries - over 14 no problem. We replaced the AGM with lithium when we decided we didn't want to have to worry about the battery depletion on the AGMs. Being full time, we wanted the safety net of lithium. It's looking like it wasn't a good choice to upgrade just yet.......... I've read way to many problems with Li batteries for me to switch just yet......
They are way to finicky for my taste............

I don't know what the current load is on the system but the batteries were being charged with no load and it didn't go over 13.2-.3

I do agree with ya that the BMS is playing havoc. That's what the other solar guy has indicated.. hoping we will hear back from Renogy with an explanation/ fix for the issue.

We had to evacuate (we lived in Florida) and had the AGM batteries. It was cloudy and rainy for several days and the AGM kept draining with no option to charge. It was making us nuts having to constantly monitor - knowing we were going full time, we didn't want to have to worry about the batteries all the time. As stated, the batteries are performing perfectly if we could just get the proper charge on them. Otherwise, everything else is great. Since it's happening to BOTH new batteries, we think the BMS has something to do with it.

I don't know what the current load is on the system but the batteries were being charged with no load and it didn't go over 13.2-.3 I think that's your problem in a nut shell with the Li and the other AGM batteries........ You really need to know the amount of power you are using each day............
I for one think your system is to small for the amount of power that you are using and what you are making each day.............
But with that said, I also think you have an additional problem with your Li batteries....... Weather it's the batteries or your CC isn't working properly with Li batteries...............
Best of luck..............

I for one, do not fully trust the diagnostics. The fact that a truck alternator was once connected to the Lithium batteries as part of the testing suggests that something else could easily be mis-configured and overlooked. Sorry, I'm just saying ... two brand new batteries malfunctioning in exactly the same way ...
Just for S's and grins let me ask, maybe this has been covered and I don't see it, but these batteries I assume are connected in parallel - not series, right? Apologies if already answered. Renogy Lithium batteries are not designed for series operation.

The smart charger on shore power not going over 13.2v shows there is a issue somewhere, the charger, the batteries or the method of testing.

What I'm curious of is how is he coming up with the 13.2 3? ? ? What is the device he is using to check it with?

The smart charger on shore power not going over 13.2v shows there is a issue somewhere, the charger, the batteries or the method of testing. Everything has been tested separately - including each battery - with and without load. Multi-meter and controller have been used to check. We agree there is an issue, based on all the tests (shown in previous replies) we think the BMS may be locking us out for some reason.
