New Rover 40A. Installed and reading solar and battery ok but plugged in BT-1 and Temp and neither work. Have app on Android and that's ok but can't pair. Should the light on the BT dongle come on when plugged in the controller? No light comes on? Temp says 40C on unit but does not change when exposed to a heat source? Press and hold right arrow for settings but I don't understand why there are only a few settings. I don't see anything on the screen but what looks like little batteries in the lower right hand corner. Only one that I move to lets me only do some basic settings, equalize, Boost and Float.
Is this something simple I'm missing or is there a problem with the unit.
No indicator light on dongle
No Temp reading change

No indicator light on dongle No Temp reading change Thank you for contacting Renogy, have you made sure to download the Renogy Bluetooth App and pair your dongle in that fashion? It will not pair without the Rengoy Bluetooth App. The Rover Controller will only display the controller sensed temperature, when you plug in the temperature sensor it will reflect the temperature on the bluetooth app readings. Try this and see if the values change.

Yes as stated in my last post, did everything according to directions. However day two went to go through the entire routine again but to my surprise it was working. So done... But I have a couple of questions: 1. All other equipment states my batteries are at 100% such as Victron Battery Monitor, charger etc. but the Rover is saying 80%? Is there a way to synchronize this to match the actual state of charge? 2. The warning flasher blinks for "Battery Undercharge Voltage" and show error "B3" when my other systems are not showing low voltage. I tried to change the Battery Undercharge rate to 10.9 to check but it still comes on. How can I set the "Battery Undercharge Voltage" so the B3 error and blinking warning light don't come on when in fact the batteries are not low? How do I change under voltage warning, I believe it's preset at 12 volts? 3. On temp can the unit be changed from "C degrees" to "F degrees" Thanks

3. On temp can the unit be changed from "C degrees" to "F degrees" Nope sorry again C is all you get......... My guess is that since that's what they use where it is made that's all you get.............

The Rover controller measures SOC from voltage (whethyer charging or idle) so the percentage will not be as accurate nor can it be synced with the Victron. 2. For the B3 error, what is your battery level at when this is happening? you can change battery voltages in USER mode. Perhaps this will aid in helping the under voltage warning as well. 3. The unit can not change temperature unfortunately.
