2x100W panels ADV30 Charge Controller 210 amp-hr FullRiver 12V battery
Installed the setup a few days ago in our Sprinter, went on a trip and enjoyed monitoring the power generation on the bluetooth module.
But, my boost is set for 120 minutes max, and it seems to stay there for MUCH longer than that.
Normal?

If you DON'T have a load at all it should go to boost in 120 min,,,,,,,,,,, But even then that's not generally the case..............
I like my system to stay in boost mode myself.......... Well unless it's in equalize mode.........

Usage is a heater at night (about 1 amp load for 10 hours), Keurig in the morning (900W for 6 minutes), and the controller starts out in Boost and stays there for a long time. Eventually gets to Float, but I thought it just stays in boost for 120 minutes max? Maybe I'm not understanding it. I've never seen it in Bulk Charge mode.
No load on it during the day besides the draw of the charge controller.

When the battery draws down it will go back to boost, or it will just stay there............ My system only goes in float mode late in the day when I'm making a LOT of power.......... Way more than I'm using..........
Your running just fine.............

No load on it during the day besides the draw of the charge controller. Do you have an inverter? Or do you have 12v appliances?

I have a cheapo 1000W Harbor Frieght inverter for now, but will be buying a nicer 1000W or 1500W Xantrex or something.
Thanks guys. This solar stuff is great, but a bit of a learning curve. I parked much of the day yesterday in an underground lot and felt like I missed out on some free electrons. Kinda bummed me out!

There is nothing wrong with that inverter.............. If it works fine keep using it and save your money..............
10 4 on missing out on free power..............

vandiesel, you have the adventurer CC. Does not seem normal to me.
The concept is should be in Bulk each morning until the batteries get to 14.4v temp adjusted (Sealed battery type). Once it hits this set pt it should be in Boost for 2 hrs. If the voltage happens to drop below 13.2 during this time it starts over.
I have a feeling the app is not displaying 'Bulk' but working correct. 'Boost' 2 hrs does not start till the bats get to 14.4v Bulk time has no defined time.
so start a 2 hr timer once the batt get to 14.4 and is stays there.

The Adventurer will display Boost, but it encompasses bulk/boost. Visually you will only be seeing Boost and Float, so boost will be perceived longer than 120min. However, the controller does indeed bulk despite not demonstrating the explicit value.
