I own the 100 WATT 12 VOLT MONOCRYSTALLINE FOLDABLE SOLAR SUITCASE WITH 10A VOYAGER CHARGE CONTROLLER and, although it is compatible with my Renogy lithium battery, it is a bit slow and will not charge above 14 volts on the battery. It is my thought that the new Rover Elite 20A MPPT charger, the same size as the Voyager PWM, might be a good drop in replacement replacement to the Voyager and a more efficient charger of lithium battery. Any problems with this thinking?

It sounds good to me but you might not be able to get it to charge above 14v...... We had a guy not long ago that couldn't get his Li battery above 13.2......
Have you tried charging it with anything else? Like an AC charger to see if the problem really is with the Voyager?

Oh by the way a MPPT is a lot better than a PWM...........

The better MPPT is my thought too. The Voyager support for Lithium seemed like an afterthought where as I hope the lithium support in the Rover is designed in. Right now I only have the one lithium battery so I have to be careful about usage if I don't want to use my generator. I am hoping the MPPT will be a game changer. Any thoughts about unmounting the Voyager and doing a drop in with the Rover?

Exactly what I am considering at the moment. I bought the new Wanderer 10A PWM for my new Litium battery and it is slow. Also, by direct comparison with a legacy Renogy 20A Tracer MPPT, charging 50AH SLA, the Tracer was way better than the Wanderer, by a factor of 1.5 to 3 in terms of watts for exactly the same panels - I just switched and re-plugged, back and forth to confirm.
I would use the Tracer if I knew how to reprogram it for Lithium. Is it possible? I also want to grab that little MPPT Elite while it is on sale.

I agree the 20% off Black Friday sale is too good to turn down.

Reporting good solid performance from my Rover Elite. It just reaches up to the sun and sucks in the juice! All kidding aside, I have been impressed with the amount of power I am getting this late in the season from a low sun. I'm using a couple of those flexible 100W Renogy panels. Yesterday, in mid afternoon, in the Northeast, just before the sun started setting, I was getting 120 Watts from panels rated to deliver 200 under ideal conditions!!! Remarkable.
