Hi,
I'm new to solar systems and just setting up a camping solution for a 12v fridge and other smaller loads. I want to run all loads through the controller to let it switch everything off when the battery gets too low.
I'm only getting 6V currently on the 'load' terminals of the controller. How can I switch this to 12v? I didn't get the RS-232 cable in the box - so wondering if I can set it with the menu on the unit... or is that something I need the software for?
Cheers, Joerg

There is NO 6V load you have something hooked up wrong.........
Hook it to the battery not the load side and you will have a LOT fewer problems........... Plus why do you want to shorten the life of your battery? You don't need to over power your battery as it will kill it sooner than it should.............

Hi Joerg, using the low voltage cutoff of the controller might be a good idea. It will save your battery from DEEP discharges. You won't end up destroying your FIRST battery You should get battery voltage at the load terminals, if not call tech.
