On renogy rover when it displays battery level is 0 percent mean I reached my 50 percent threshold for the battery or is it actually there going to die.

On renogy rover when it displays battery level is 0 percent mean I reached my 50 percent threshold for the battery or is it actually there going to die. It all depends..... What kind of battery do you have?
Battery % means NOTHING........
Does it shut off when it gets to 50%?
What is the voltage in the battery at rest when it says it's at 50%?
Way more info needed to help you........

I have 4 12v 100ah gel batteries at 51.2 it says 81 percent Ok try it again...... 51.2? Do you mean 15.2 or 12.5? Like I said % 81% means nothing forget it's even there......... Voltage in the battery is everything...

Exactly I have 4 gel 12v in series so it's a 48v system. These wre generic Chinese batteries there is no documentation.
So if its stating or readin 51.5v how much over all power do I have. Or where is the 50% v lvl for the batteries

here is some info on Trojan Gel, find the open circuit voltage chart. www.trojanbattery.com/pdf/Trojan_QSG_Gel.pdfNo idea if Trojan's chemistry is similar to the Gels you have. the chart show for 12v that 12.38v is 50% which means 4 x 12.38v = 49.52v ~ 50% (this is rested voltage). Under load or charging it is difficult to determine OCV or state of charge. Look at these specs, the last page shows OCV vs state of charge www.renogy.com/content/Specification/RBT100GEL12-G1.pdf50% ~ 2.05v/cell. A 12v battery is 6 cell so that is 12.3v ~ 50% 48v is 24 cell so 24 x 2.05v = 49.2v

Based on the info provided by bupkis, working from the other direction, 51.5 OCV corresponds to 51.5 / 24 = approx. 2.15 V / cell which corresponds to 90% SOC.
