Can the 20A Rover handle 4 panels with 12 V and 100W? If so do I wire panels in series or parallel?

I'm guessing 2 panels in series and each set of 2 parallel to MPPT

Can the 20A Rover handle 4 panels with 12 V and 100W? If so do I wire panels in series or parallel? We do not recommend 4 panels with the Rover 20 unless you're doing a 24V system. The amperage coming out of the panels, since this is an MPPT, would exceed the ratings on the 20A. We recommend the 40A Rover. -Renogy Team |

Thanks for that. I've ordered a 40A Rover. How do I wire the 4 panels. You would wire your 4 x 100W panels in series into the 40A Rover charge controller. This is our 400W premium kit. Attachments:
