Hello. I think I correctly have my four 100w, 12v Renogy panels (RNG-100D-SS) connect to feed 24v to the Rover controller. I find no reading on the controller that confirms I'm at 24v. Is there such a reading on the Rover? The instruction manual mentions the "system voltage" reading that shows at lower left on the main screen but the manual doesn't say whether that's supposed to reflect the incoming voltage from the panels or the battery voltage.
Additional info: My two batteries are 12v batteries connected in parallel. My panels are connected such that I have two sets connected in series, with the leads from each series set feeding into the two leads that go to the controller.

From what I remember when I was messing with a Rover unit, there was three options: 12V, 24V, or auto. When setting those I found that it has no effect on the controller. I also found that reading those values didn't accurately represent which voltage I was at.
So don't worry, although you're supposed to be able to set and read your voltage, I'm pretty sure it just uses auto detection and goes with that.
This is just from my experience, maybe someone can give a more accurate answer to why this is.

Yes your CC will detect what the voltage is in your battery 24v or 12v........ And it will adjust the power from your panels......

What is the voltage showing on your CC? ? ? Or better yet with a voltmeter? ?

if you 'battery bank' is 12v the controller should display a little '12v' as system voltage.

The Rover automatically detects if the size of your battery bank is 12V or 24V and will display the size on the bottom of the Rover display. -Renogy Team

From what you are saying, it looks like you have your solar panels wired in series/parallel for 24 volt (or about 40 volts no load). Your 12 volt batteries are in parallel for 12 volts.
The Rover doesn't have the panel voltage displayed by default. You have to cycle through the display (see your manual) until you get to the one that shows only the solar panel, a number (the panel voltage to the charge controller) and a very small V for voltage. There is also one that will display the current: the solar panel, a number (the current from the panels) and a very small A for amperes.
The default screen shows a small 12V or 24V on the lower left to indicate the battery voltage configuration.
