Pretty esoteric but does anyone know what the life cycle count on the EEPROM the micro in the Rover 40 is rated at? Hoping it's the equiv of say a 24c02 so... lots. The use is automated external control of the Rover via modbus, effectively the Rover becomes a slave of some other equipment. Looking at the modbus doc for the Rover there is no way to inhibit the charge controller so instead I rewrite the boost/float voltage to lower it to the point where the Rover is no longer supplying current. The adjustment might be done 2, 3 times a day, ie, 'enable' the Rover, then after a period, 'disable' it.
