I just purchased the Adventurer 30A PWM and I'm not sure of how to hook up all of the included cable/components. My questions are on the Remote Temperature Sensor Terminal and the Remote Battery Voltage Sensor Terminal. I get that the Temperature sensor just plugs in to the back of the controller, but where should the actual attached sensor at the end of the wire be placed? In regards to the Temperature Sensor, the tech guy I spoke with on the phone said to hook the loose wires up to the battery. That just didn't make sense to me as the end wires are about 2" long and are wrapped with "heat tape" which doesn't lend itself to be split to attach to my negative - and + terminals on my 12v battery? So, after I plug in the Temperature Sensor plug into the controller, what do the loose wires attach to? Thanks- Boobar

What tech guy, where did you talk to?

2 snesors, one has a temp probe that can be taped to the middle of a battery ^^^^^, other end plugs into temp sensor slot on cotroller one is voltage and needs to be wired to the battery terminals with the correct polarity, other end plugs into voltage sensor slot on controller please see pages 6 & 7 and pages 12 & 13 www.renogy.com/template/files/Manuals/RNG-CTRL-ADV30-LI.pdfOne end of each sensor connects to the green plug that plugs into the contoller.

Ok since were talking about temp sensors, And to help others in the future..... Admin what does the ends hook to on the 60aCC temp sensor? It's a little different than the other sensors from what I've seen....
It also has a yellow wire with a lug on it along with the plug that goes to the CC and the temp sensor on the other end...
In other words where does the yellow wire attach?
Thanks

Ok I'll make it a little easier Admin here is a pic of what I asked about... The secondary function of the lug came as an afterthought. We would recommend to connect it to the grounding lug. Otherwise, it does not serve a primary function. -Renogy Team

This way there is no need to call Renogy tech....
